St Paul Metropolitan Cathedral

The original structure of St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral was constructed in 1574 and was completed in 1800 during the Spanish regime. It was a simple chapel that became a church in 1641 and considered to be the center of devotion for the Roman Catholic in centuries.

 

Syquia Mansion

The Syquia Mansion turned into a museum occupied with old furniture and exhibits in honor to the life of the 6th President of the Philippines, Elpidio Quirino who became prominent in politics after he got married to a well-off Syquia family.

St. Augustine Church

St. Augustine Church is the oldest church in Ilocos Sur. Found inside the church is the statue of Our Lady of Charity or Nueva Segovia’s patroness whom they believed have protected and watched over the whole town for many generations.

Crisologo Museum

Explore the two-story home of Floro Crisologo and his family which was preserved and turned to be a museum that houses their treasure of historical artifacts and antique furnishings which includes the desk of Floro when he was a congressman. There is an exhibit when he was killed by a lone gunman while taking part in the communion at Vigan Cathedral way back in 1970 with some horrible photos together with his trouser stained with blood.
