St. Augustine’sChurch (Paoay Church)

The Saint Augustine Church or Paoay Church is one of the most impressive, treasured, famous and remaining church structure in the Philippines that is characterized by Baroque architecture, which was built in 1704 and finished in 1710. It’s careful preservation and distinctive architecture makes it declared as a National Cultural Treasure by the government in 1973 and a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1993.

Malacanang of the North

Malacanang of the North or Malacañang ti Amianan is the famous official residence of the Marcoses during the Marcos Era. When the late President Ferdinand Marcos, Sr. was removed from power, the Philippine Government confiscated the property. After 20 years, the mansion was given to back to the custody of the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte. After its restoration and renovation, the mansion becomes open to the public as a museum. It is a perfect place to view the stunning Paoay Lake.

Cape Bojeador Lighthouse

The 65 feet tall Cape Bojeador or Burgos Lighthouse is more than 100 years cultural heritage structure. That was lit up for the first time on the 30th day of March 1892 and it gives signal once the ship entered the Philippine territory during the Spanish regime. It stands on top of Vigia de Nagparitan Hill, overlooking the Cape Bojeador.
