ITINERARY
DAY 01 DEPARTURE MANILA
Departure at NAIA Terminal 1 via Kuwait Airlines for your flights to Cairo.
DAY 02 CAIRO (L/D)
Our guide will meet and assist us upon arrival in Cairo Airport, then proceed to to the Church of the Holy Virgin Mary or the Hanging Church, where the Virgin Mary publicly appeared several times then proceed to St. George Coptic Church, St. Sergius or Abu Serga Church and its Holy Crypt. Lunch en-route. Continue to the Papyrus Factory to discover how the first paper was made during the ancient times then proceed to the hotel for check in. Dinner at the hotel.
DAY 03 CAIRO (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Mythical Sphinx, which is the national symbol of Egypt and belongs to one of the Wonders of the World. Lunch en-route. Visit Egyptian Museum to see the incredible and noteworthy treasures during the Pharaonic regime. For a dinner, enjoy a Dinner Cruise at Nile River with a Belly Dancing Show and the great performance of a skilled ” Men in Skirt”. Transfer back to the hotel.
DAY 04 CAIRO – ST. CATHERINE (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out then drive to St. Catherine Monastery passing thru the Sinai Peninsula where you can see the Springs of Moses and Suez Canal. Lunch en-route. Check-in. Dinner.
DAY 05 ST. CATHERINE – TABA –JERICHO – BETHLEHEM (B/L/D)
Early morning optional climb to Mt Sinai (2,285m), the Holy Shrine where God handled the Ten Commandments to Moses. Return back to the hotel for the breakfast. Check out. Leave Egypt with assistance by crossing the Taba Border and continue to Jericho, which is the oldest city in the world to view the Mount of Temptation and the Sycamore Tree. Drop at Qumran, the caves of the Essences where the Dead Sea Scrolls where found by a wandering shepherd boy. Enjoy and relax at the Dead Sea which is the lowest point on earth. Drive to Betlehem. Dinner.
DAY 06 BETHLEHEM – NEW CITY JERUSALEM – BETHLEHEM (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to the Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem, which houses the Grotto of the Nativity, the Manger Square and the Silver Star that symbolizes the place where the Child Jesus was born. Drive to the Lazarus Tomb and Shepherd’s Field where the Angels announced the birth of Jesus. Lunch en-route. Proceed to Ein Karem to visit the St. John the Baptist Church which is the traditional home of Zacharias and Elizabeth and continue to the Church of Visitacion, where Mary and Elizabeth met. Mary sang out the song of praise, the Magnificat. Continue to Yad Vashem, the memorial to the holocaust. Transfer back to the hotel. Dinner
DAY 07 BETHLEHEM – OLD JERUSALEM – BETHLEHEM (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Mount of Olives to visit the Ascension Chapel. Continue to the Pater Noster Church, where Jesus taught the “Lord’s Prayer” and then stop by Dominus Flevit Church where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. Continue to walk down the Palm Sunday road towards the Church of All Nations (Church of the Agony) and the Sacred Garden of Gethsemane where the Stone of Agony can be found, the place where Jesus prayed and spent His last night before the Roman soldiers arrested Him.
Visit St. Anne’s Church, the home of the Virgin Mary and her parents Saints Joaquim and Anne then continue to the Pool of Bethsaida wherein the paralytic was cured by Jesus, and go through the Wailing Wall, which is the most Shrine for Jews. Proceed to the Stations of the Cross of the Via Dolorosa towards the Holy Sepulchre which houses the place called Golgotha, the Calvary and the Tomb, the site where Jesus was crucified, died and rose from the dead. Proceed to Mt. Zion, the Upper room, David’s Tomb and the Dormition Abbey. Transfer back to the hotel. Dinner.
DAY 08 BETHLEHEM–HAIFA – NAZARETH –CANA –TIBERIAS (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Proceed to the ancient city of Haifa to visit Monastery of the Carmelites and continue to the Roman City of Caesaria, the site of Pontius Pilate where St Paul was imprisoned and the perfect place to catch the sight of the Aqueducts and the Roman Theater. Visit Jaffa where the place of the Miracle of Resurrection of Tabita took place.Continue to Nazareth, the place where Jesus spent His childhood and youth. Drive to the Joseph’s workshop and the Church of Annunciation, to see the original cave where Angel Gabriel,announced to Mary that she will conceived a child by the Holy Spirit. Proceed to the Village of Cana, wherein during the wedding feast in Cana Jesus miraculously changed water into wine. Dinner.
DAY 09 SEA OF GALILEE–TIBERIAS (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Mt. Tabor to visit the site of the Transfiguration of Jesus. Have a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus miraculously walked and calmed the sea then proceed to Capernaum, a place where Jesus began His public ministry and often visiting Synagogue to preach, taught the parables, cure the sick and choose His first humble disciples. Visit Tabgha where the Miracle of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes took place, as Jesus fed five thousand people with fives loaves of bread and two fishes. Continue to Mount of Beatitudes, the site of the Sermon on the Mount. Then proceed to the St. Peter’s Primary Church and have a great breathtaking view of the Sea of Galilee. Visit as well the remains of St. Peter’s house. Proceed to the Jordan River in Yardenit, where St. John the Baptist baptized Jesus Christ. Dinner.
Day 10 TIBERIAS – AMMAN (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Drive from Tiberias to the border. Leave Israel with assistance continue to Mt. Nebo, where Moses
viewed the Promised Land before he passed away. Continue to the Monastery of St George in ancient Madaba, to see the unique mosaic Map of Egypt, Jordan and Holyland, which was built in the 6th century. Transfer to the hotel for the check-in. Dinner.
Day 11 AMMAN–PETRA–AMMAN (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to the gorgeous lost city of Petra, “The Red Rose City”, the most visited site in the country, built in 6th century, and a UNESCO World Heritage since 1985. Horseback Riding or carriage is included as you visit the place through Treasury. Drive back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Amman.Dinner.
Day 12 DEPARTURE AMMAN–MANILA (BL)
Breakfast at hotel. Free time until departure. Transfer to Amman International Airport.
Day 13 ARRIVE – MANILA
Arrive Manila from a memorable tour.
